Griz QB Larson Shifting to Wide Receiver

“For him to be a backup quarterback precludes us from using him on some of the special teams. This gives him a chance to make plays for us both in that capacity and at wide receiver," Hauck said. "By shifting positions he also shows that he is about team first and himself second, plus he will help our football team."

On the subject at hand I think this will mean some good things for us as AZ and Grizza already pointed out. I can see him being a dangerous holder on the PAT's.

Since when is a backup QB prohibited from going on Special Teams? We had a starting QB at Delta who doubled as the longsnapper.
