What's the Buzz About Hofstra?

I'm just curious. I noticed that as a program they've struggled for the past few years. I did see them ranked in one preseason poll (it might have been Phil Steele's). I'm partly concerned because I was thinking about attending the WMU/Hofstra game this year and with the rate of performance for the MAC out of conference, the last thing I'd want is for Western to play a contending FCS team

Hofstra struggled with a ton of injuries last year. They'll return a good core of players this year and could potentially be a playoff team. I'd imagine they'd give WMU a run for their money in the first half at least. You'll know for sure the week before the WMU game as Hofsta plays Richmond.
