This afternoon the SME Network published NCAA Playoff projections for the first time. Each week fans can track which teams have the best chance to make the FCS Playoffs.

Both hosts of the Football Championship Show, Ray Alexander and Ralph Bednarczyk have submitted their brackets. Fans are encouraged to send in their feedback and discuss these brackets on the shows.

You can also vote for this weeks "Game of the Week" along with the "Play of the Week" which are both up on the site. The Top 25 Poll and Weekly Stars have also been published for this week.

I like this idea. The fact that it may change weekly is great

Looks like Ralph doesn't think too highly of Montana

THat is a good idea - I like it. We'll see how accurate they are.

He borrowed the idea from Joe Lunardi who does this sort of thing with college basketball. At least he "borrowed" a good idea.

I like Ray's bracket better. Wofford should be a shorter trip for SIU than Delaware. Both of them have us in a probable second round rematch with Montana. Who's going to pay for our gas for these trips?
Ralph has all three Gateway teams in the same bracket. Surely the committee would avoid this.

I guess I like Ray's better because it gives us a possible rematch with Montana (I know, if both get that far...)

It will be interesting watching the changes as they take place for the remainder of the season...

Ralph has 6 CAA teams. Not realistic at all.

Funny! That would be the same amount of gas that Montana gets to pay for in 2 of their conference games. Flying to Sac and NAU.

I initially thought 4 Gateway teams in it, but now I think since ILSU is sucking this year, it will only be 3 teams.

I still think SIU and YSU have a shot at a seed though. If either one of them can defeat UNI I feel they will take over the seed from UNI. SIU of course would own the TB with YSU since they beat them....

I love the idea though, great discussion!
AS LONG AS YSU IS AT HOME AT LEAST ONE WEEK, I AM HAPPY!

With four losses Ill State has taken themselves out of the picture. The winner of the WIU-Mo State game this weekend has a better shot but only if they can get a win over one of the top three teams. I'd say the odds are the Gateway only gets three bids this year. Whoever wins the league has a good shot at a seed. If there are co-champs, I would doubt there being a seeded team from the Gateway.

It can be hard to look at the brackets only because they are predicting the playoffs for this week and not how it will play out. Cool idea to talk about every week.

If YSU wins out, I feel they will make it because they would actually have a win over a #1 team in the nation.... 8-3 in the GFC should be good enough to get into the playoffs....
