Anybody taking any sweet road trips this year?

My father and I are going to go watch Weber play at Wyoming in Laramie, we own 5 acres of land close to Kemmerer Wyoming so we are going to base out of there and head to Laramie, I cant wait.

Anybody Else hitting the road this football season?

I wish I could go to more than one, but my budget is telling me to stay at home.

The big road trip this season is to Flagstaff for Montana - NAU...

I'll also be going to the UMass - Richmond and UMass - Delaware games this year...

To Jacksonville on Sept 19 and then a road trip to Norfolk on Nov 7 for Home Coming (OK, so technically it's not a road trip since it is a home game, but at 800 miles that's a road trip!)

I'm only going to the TCU game in Ft Worth. I don't like going to LA (long drives). Arkansas is about 7 hrs also and I can't manage Utah. I go where I can, when I can. Last year I only made the SHSU but I would have gone to SMU had I not been out of the country. Even that yearly trip had to be cancelled this year :(

Just got back from my long road trip of the season, Portland to Billings, MT (drove the whole way and back). Got to hear about both Cats and Griz fall practices. Maybe some good inside information... :|

That cut into my budget for this year. Probably go to Seattle for PSU/EWU. Other than that, probably get to La Grande, OR for my alma mater, Rocky Mountain College, playing Eastern Oregon.

I would assume I'll also go to Illinois State. Unsure on the rest.

Maybe TCU. But then again Texas St is a road game for me now so its enough to go to San Marcos.

I'm driving 2.5 hrs to a home game or two in Boone, and 3 hrs to an away game in Charleston. Throw in a :10 drive to Furman (hopefully :40 to Wofford) and that's what my season is looking like.

It's this time of year when I miss Montana the most. The next closest game for me would be TWO different trips to the Sacramento area....

These are the only definites.

Greenville, NC on September 5
Boone on September 12

Maybe's

Charleston on October 3
Greenville, SC, on October 31
Spartanburg on October 17
Another Boone game during the regular season. Most likely October 24 or November 21.

In a perfect world three post-season trips to Boone and one to this city in Tennessee that I've grown very fond of in December.

Since it is a six to seven (depending on Atlanta traffic) hour drive to home games (and I will be at all five) and another 6 hour drive to our opener against USF I guess I will be making at least six road trips this year.

As good as an offer as that sounds, I can stay with my brother or parents for free up there so it makes it tough to pay for a hotel.
