It looks like the fabulous UNI-Dome may sell out again when YSU comes to town.

Only good thing working for us is that we played at Ohio Stadium this year and that had 105,000 fans, so that was plenty loud. 17,000 Fans in a dome won't affect us at all; we just need to wake up and play our game in 2 weeks!

Ya, i'm sure our 17,000 fans under a metal roof will get a little louder than the 105,000 people that showed up to watch the Bucks destroy you and give you some cash. Not saying that the big house won't be louder than the UNI dome some time this year, but when Michigan is in town, not YSU. You will be affected, trust me!

The YSU Athletic Ticket office Announced today that all tailgate passes have been sold for the game on Oct 20th. All lots are SOLD OUT and NO Passes in any tailgate lot are available on game day. Also NO Tailgating is permitted in M-1,M-2, M-26, or any other university owned lot.

First time I ever saw this notice passed around that both tailgate lots are completely sold out. Back in the 90s and early 21st century, there was pretty much just the one main M-25 lot; now they redid the lot a block down and that is where the corporate tailgates are held, and they have been a major success!

Pretty tame, although I did talk to a friend of mine who was having so much fun tailgating last week that she did not make it into the fabulous UNI-Dome for the game!!

And it's pretty much official... If YSU loses, there season is TOAST!

A 2 or 3 loss 'Guin team still would put our tuxedo'ed friends in the playoffs.. just a bit of a tougher road.

Record: 5-3

Youngstown is currently 5-3, although one of those wins is over non-D1 Lock Haven. (and one of their losses is to Ohio State, though I'm not sure if that really affects at-large consideration)
And they are sitting at 1-2 in Gateway games.
So they might still be in it with a win over UNI,
but a loss to the Panthers pretty much takes them out of the running for the auto-bid, and they'd have 4 losses which would make it unlikely to get an at-large.

I'd say the Penguins need to win out to get in. If they lose, the Gateway is looking like a two-bid league this year.
