18,111 GSU/Albany. Not bad for a non-conference on a holiday weekend.

41,357 shattered a Cajun Field record for Southern vs. ULL. 31,000 is a sellout. 40,360 for Wofford vs. USF but I don't think it was that many, the weather scared off some folks.
Re: Attendance
Montana announced the largest in Wa-Griz history...25,698 which beats Cat/Griz last year.

From what I understand 41,357 is not only a Cajun Field record but its also a SUNBELT Conf. recordtampajag wrote:41,357 shattered a Cajun Field record for Southern vs. ULL. 31,000 is a sellout. 40,360 for Wofford vs. USF but I don't think it was that many, the weather scared off some folks.

Re: Attendance
I know alot of you are used to crowds this size or way larger but this is not the norm for us. It was great to see and be a part of. The only larger crowds I've been at for TXST were the playoff games in 2005. Bobcat Stadium has rarely been filled to 89% capacity.slycat wrote:Angelo St @ Texas St - 14,116. My friend brought her BIL (who is home on leave from Afghanistan), a TXST/SWT alum. His comment during pregame? "Nobody cared about TXST football when I was here."

Re: Attendance
I watched the live feed with some friends and we were all excited over the crowd size. I was great to see the student side packed again. Hope they keep it up.CatMom wrote:I know alot of you are used to crowds this size or way larger but this is not the norm for us. It was great to see and be a part of. We had 10,028 fans for our game against Dixie State which is a school record! Hopefully we can keep it up all year long, here is a video clip of the game, just look at that crowd! And we also played pretty good as well, hopefully Poots will be back for when we go up to SDSU

Lots of orange, but some green and black. Every single one of us enjoyed showing Eugene the proper way to exhibit sportsmanship.

Re: Attendance
Tbird, I gotta say that I am thoroughly impressed with the strides that the community and the team is making. Trying to find ANY sort of information other than a new article a few years ago was tough. That was a real decent highlight video and the home uniforms looked pretty cool. You had a great crowd and I hope they can continue to turn Tbird football into a vibrant part of the culture in that area.SUUTbird wrote:We had 10,028 fans for our game against Dixie State which is a school record!
