Blackout day at the UNI-Dome. Everyone was encouraged to wear black.

If only people would have stuck around the whole game instead of leaving about 500 people for the second half...HAHA.


I'm guilty of leaving early, but it was a blow out, I spent 6 hours in the sun before the game, drank about 21 beers and by about 6:30 I was sick as fuck.

The first pic was probably 30 minutes before the game started. The pic of the Yote crowd and the blackout was sometime mid 1st quarter. The last 2 pics were shortly after the start of the 4th quarter. Wasn't many people left by that point.

Meh. The only time I drink anymore is tailgating, or a beer if I go out for dinner. I figure if I go through 100 beers in 6 home games, that makes up for my lack of beer the rest of the year

Farely's got his "Don't fvck with us" look. Next time he cracks a smile will be after beating Southern Illinois again, but in the NC.

Black outs in the stands are kinda negated by the 100% white crowd.

No way that SIU and UNI will ever be bracketed that way, sadly. It would be loads of fun to beat you at your Homecoming and for the NC.

They did look a little dimer than usual...however, that could have been the new turf not being as bright green as the old shit.

they could have turned the lights off and it still would have been too bright to have much of an effect. too much natural light from the translucent top of the Dome.

True, which brings me to my second forgotten point.... Black outs are for night games, even if they are in a translucent dome.
