If the two teams play like they did last week, I'm just hoping for damage control. Mariani is going to wreck the secondary if the d can't keep focused and wrap the receiver up.

Uh....not real good. I just got off the phone with Native and told him all of the Griz' deep dark secrets.....Higgins scares the crap out of me.

Is the playing surface still the old style astroturf? We usually take a little while to adjust to that with the qb and receivers even when we have a well oiled offense running. I'm not sure we're even at that point yet so I think we're gonna see a few missed opportunities for scores in the beginning. I hope we stay mostly run in the 1st half without running the shit out of Chase. Watch out for this guy to bull his way to some first downs this week. He is a fuckin' animal.
Dan Moore

High School: He lettered in four sports at Mountain View High School: football (three), wrestling (three), baseball (three), and track and field (one)...a two-time all-state and three times all-conference choice in football... also named All-Region...the 14th-ranked fullback in the nation by Scout.com...as a senior he rushed for more than 2,000 yards and 21 touchdowns, averaging 8.0 yards a carry, and had 2,525 all-purpose yards (229.0 a game)... voted his team MVP three times...team captain in football, baseball, and track and field...was a U.S.A Power-lifting champion as a freshman.... his high school football coach was Paul Schmidt.
We need some work on getting the third down conversions early in the game as well but another guy that could have a big game is Brody McKnight, he average 65.1 on kickoffs so hopefully he won't be letting NAU get any notions about returning kicks this week with the kicker friendly indoor climate. He had plenty of leg on his missed 53 yd. attempt that was wide left and I think he could make that kick this week.

My score guess is gonna be Griz 37, NAU 16

If NAU's offense plays the way they did last week and (in part thanks to Henderson) and if Montana's offense comes out firing i see this being a very high scoring affair between the two. However if the Griz can keep Henderson contained i see a much different story.

Final Prediction: 38-31 Montana

I knew you were gonna like him.

He is a major stud that not many people are real aware of yet.

I couldn't remember if you guys had it or not but I thought you did. It's hard not reflecting back on the astro days and watching us struggle to adjust to it.

And I plan to have my flask, and something to fill it with, for the pre-game/game/post game period...sooooooooooo

Holy crap! I'm the only one who gave out any secrets! AZG didn't tell me a darn thang!

Actually, Higgins scares the crap out of me, too! So far, he has 8 turnovers (7 ints and a fumble) to match his 8 touchdown passes.

...so it looks like this year may turn out to be like last year. Whoever wins the turnover battle wins the game.

Hopefully for the Wildcats, we will have settled down and started playing mistake-free football by the time we head to Missoula.

Isn't the Walkup Dome at the highest elevation in the Big Sky?

There's a reason the word "load" was invented, and I think this kid is the reason why it was!

Yeah, I had to check UNC's elevation but no other BSC school is over 4800 feet. There's a line in the dome that marks off the 7k elevation. Coming from DC, I'm still gasping for breath during a run after being here a few months.

So, yeah, the elevations a factor.

For whatever reason it never seems to affect us when they are there.
