Uh, this list is bullshit. ETSU's dome would have kicked all your asses.

 ... and of course this dome is the best, only an NFL team uses it too.

Waiting patiently for Clenz to come in here and define why some of these shouldn't be on the list because they aren't "domes" :geek:

Haven't been there in about 10 years, did they tear it down or something? That place was pretty nice from what I can remember.

Will UT-SA play at the Alamo Dome or at Alamo Stadium (a 23,000 seat open air stadium in San Antonio)?

I was joking about the Mini-Dome. That place was the biggest crap hole I've ever been in. I saw two games there before ETSU stopped playing football, one at 6 rows from the bottom and one at 8 from the top. Couldn't see a darn thing either time. The sight lines were terrible. There was only about 6 yards from sideline to stands, and the players blocked your view of 1/4 of the field. I don't know if it's still there or not, but it should be fire-bombed.

Boy, after seeing the rainbow pasta that is Holt Arena, I would sure hate to see what #9 looks like.

Why, with a setting like that, would you play indoors? :shake:

The way Idaho State plays right now, better to keep a roof on it.

Then city of Pocatello looks great, very nice rustic suburban feel. They really should play in an open air stadium. imo

5.USD- Decent for football, loses points due to wooden bleachers on one side, probably could use a face lift.
4.NAU- Looks nice, gains points for field turf.
3.UNI- Nice dome, could be higher if it had a few renovations, nice tailgating atmosphere outside the stadium as well.
2.UND- This place can get loud with its low roof, has decent amenities and a pretty good tailgating atmosphere outside of the stadium. Seating could be steeper.
1.NDSU- 19,000 seats surround the field and there is a jumbotron in each corner. The city has done a good job in keeping the dome up to date and the tailgating atmosphere is very good. Fan amenities are solid, sightlines are ideal for football.

Good list, I've never been to UND's or NDSU's but I'm not sure I'd put UND ahead of UNI.

Like I said, I'll put the new pictures up later tonight. Since you guys were hear last year we have gotten new turf, redone the north endzone, added another concourse that doesn't require steps, added new suites, upgraded the old pressboxes, got new goal posts, and redid almost all of the signs hanging in the dome.
