Re: 11/19 Scores
I will give the Cats a little slack... They are coming off 3 games in 3 days in North Carolina last weekend. You could really tell at the end of the game, as all shots were short, and they were fouling instead of getting in front of the defender.dbackjon wrote:Bad loss for Montana State. I don't think I'd go quite that far, but I was surprised GCU was favored in the point spread.dbackjon wrote:Bad loss for Montana State. GCU is missing two starters, lost to a DII team.

The Hornets dominated the dungpilers and just gave it to them. Out-hustled, outplayed, and out-willed on the court and of course out-coached. It was an impressive performance.

Re: 11/22 Scores
Even stranger: UW did not make a SINGLE BASKET outside of the key. Not one. Not even a little 15-footer. 0-9 on 3-point attempts, 0-6 on other shots outside the key. Weirdest box score I’ve ever seen...and Griz were IN that game until Pridgett fouled out, even with the biased homer reffing that was going on.Mvemjsunpx wrote:

Nothing like Hornet hoops boat racing Pepperdine in the 2nd half to night cap a Causeway win on the gridiron to secure a BSC title. Hell of a day.

The Hornet - Colorado game was a 5 point game with 4 to go...then Patton and Davis fouled out and that was that. Gritty performance nonetheless.

That’s what happened to the Griz when they played UW. Kept it close until Pridgett fouled out...then UW pulled away and made it look worse than it really was.SDHornet wrote:The Hornet - Colorado game was a 5 point game with 4 to go...then Patton and Davis fouled out and that was that.
