TXST New Coaches

Our Men's Basketball is, I think, our worst sport. At least in recent times. They kept the old coach way too long and he had run the program into the ground. The current head coach, Davalos, has been there 2 years with very minor improvement. We recently hired 2 new assistants

Rob Flaska (formerly at Texas Southern and Centenary)
Terence Rencher (played at UT, in NBA and overseas)

Rencher is the all-time scoring leader at Texas, where he scored 2,306 points in his career and ranks sixth among the school's career assists leaders with 440. A four-year starter at Texas, Rencher helped lead the Longhorns to three NCAA Tournament appearances, three Southwest Conference championships, one SWC Tournament title and a combined record of 83-44 from 1992-95.
