Same. NEVER been impressed with B10 basketball (or football, for that matter).

They don't always have that one team that stands above everyone. But since 2000: Maryland (pre-B10), Indiana, Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Michigan have all been in the championship game. Compare that to:

ACC: UNC, Georgia Tech, Duke, Virginia, Louisville (vacated)
Big XII: Baylor, Texas Tech and Kansas
SEC: Florida and Kentucky
Pac10: UCLA

Compare that to how OFTEN a couple of those ACC teams have been to the championship game since 2000.

The hardest one may be Arizona covering. Houston is legit - people forget they were a Final Four team last year, and this year they're the #2 team in Kenpom (behind Gonzaga). Arizona, btw, is #3 in Kenpom, so that's one hell of a Sweet 16 game there.

Houston is legit. Completely new team this year I believe. Sampson rebuild crazy fast. I love the way they attack the O glass and their passes off the rebounds are the best!

I’m a Tarheel homer but FWIW I agree - I think the dook-UNC game might well be the national championship.

The thought of UNC expelling Shasheffsky from his last NCAA tournament (after spoiling his last game in Cameron Indoor) has me fairly well shaking with anticipation this week.
