MN State just pulled the extremely rare Daily Double as the 1 Mavericks (an original 1 seed before the rather odd D-II Elite Eight re-seed) took down the defending champs 2 Nova Southeastern Sharks (also a pre-tournament 1 seed) 88-85 on CBS in the final. Yesterday, the 5 Mavs (originally a 7 seed) upset 1 TX Woman's University Pioneers 89-73.
