Lehigh Reclaims First Place in Patriot

Post by ngineer »

Mountain Hawks hammered Bucknell last night at Stabler, 81-59, to take sole possession of first from the Bison. A win over Holy Cross Saturday will clinch #1 and home court seeding for the Tournament. Way things are breaking down, Lafayette could get #2 seed and both "L's" could meet for the Final at Stabler. What a great finish to a season with these two rivals possibly playing for the NCAA berth! :thumb:

ngineer - Not to put the cart in front of the horse, but any idea what they'll do is Lehigh is hosting a semifinal game and Easterns on the same day?

When is the semifinal game? If Sunday, it could be done Sunday night, as the EIWA Tournament will be over by about 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. A game starting at 8 pm. would be plenty of time to turnoverThe STAR. If the game is Saturday...then I say they move the game to either Friday or Sunday, as day one usually goes later. I imagine we'll read something soon in the paper and on the website.

Mountain Hawks finished in sole possession of first place with a 91-80 win over Holy Cross tonight. Lehigh set a Stabler Arena record making 15 3-pt shots. Lehigh finishes regular season 10-4 and 19-10.
