UCA is now NCAA tourney eligible since their transition is over and A.D. Brad Teague is ready for a change to help that happen next year. Coach Chappell and his staff have all been relieved of their duties.

As a Bear fan, I'm ready for a winning season. As a friend of coach, I'm really gonna miss his efforts and good character. Great guy, but we need another direction for the team. I'm thinking A.D. Teague saw the positive results that Coach Daniel brought to the Sugar Bears, 21-8, from a 6-23 season the year before, and decided that it was time for a change. Good luck Coach Chappell!
