They won the play-in game, now they get the #1 seed in the nation. Tell me this is fair?
Call me a cynic, or whatever, but any conference champion - regardless of how sucky the league is - should not be playing a play-in.

I don't know. This way, at least, they have a chance of winning a game.

If Alabama St had not played so tentative in the first half the outcome could have been different. The Hornets played scared in the first half as stated before then came out and played as if they knew what was at stake they need to recruit ppl who can hurt the opposition from the perimeter that is what cost them the game missing key three point shots that could have own the game for them.Mvemjsunpx wrote:I don't know. It's the NCAA tourney, not the special olympics. UTSA looked good on Tuesday, if they want to advance they will have to play 10x better on Friday.CatMom wrote:They won the play-in game, now they get the #1 seed in the nation. Tell me this is fair?

Re: UTSA gets OSU
Not saying that but like the NCAA baseball stuff, last year, (baseball ref - How is it the Pac10 #8 team even got in, let alone a better seed than some conference winners?) It's the same old shit. The play-ins should be not be conference winners...that's my point and my opinion.griz37 wrote:It's the NCAA tourney, not the special olympics. I know some of you don't get it and probably never will....status quo.
I want #'s from conferences
I want their records and seedings
(too much work for me on this cause I'm not as in to it as others)

The UTSA Roadrunners have one goal going into their Friday afternoon game with the top-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes.
They just want to continue their Ohio vacation. After winning the Southland Conference tournament, UTSA began its NCAA journey in Dayton on Wednesday with a 70-61 win over Alabama State in the inaugural "First Four" round.
