Weber came back to take the lead, but NoDak is up 3 with 1:24 left.

It's basically been Berry vs. Huff.

Griz get it done and hold off Weber by 3 in a grinding, physical second half.

Montana becomes the third team in Big Sky history to host & win both Big Sky Tournaments in the same season (1991-Montana, 2003-Weber).

Very physical game. Griz get it done with only 2 seniors this year and finish with 1 senior. Here is to a fair seed!

Championship Results

  • WEB 64-67 UMT; UM wins shooting & 3-pt. shooting/D against a team that leads the nation in those stats
        • The Wildcats lose the game while winning the boards for the first time this season
Both teams' leading rebounders were true freshmen off the bench (Bolomboy/Martin)
Jordan Richardson had 4 assists, but his teammates only combined for 1
Jamar & Cherry combined for 25 of Montana's 33 points in the second half
Kyle Tresnak made a bucket 20 seconds in, then mysteriously failed to make one again

At 16-16 in a weak Big Sky, North Dakota gets a CIT bid. :? They will play at UNI.

Weber will host Cal Poly in the same tournament.

UNI got fucked out of the NIT...already played UND this season and won 72-45 playing second/third liners the entire second half....thank hours we can get a rematch so we can settle who the better team really is, can't really tell from the average margin of victory of 21 points the last 5 years and 4 meetings
