M: D-I Tournament Predictions

Post by SuperHornet »

I have a pretty vanilla final: 1 KY d. 1 Duke. But how I get there is anything but.

13 Valpo to Sweet 16.
8 OR to Final Four
Play-in 11 BYU to Sweet 16.
Play-in 11 Dayton to Third Round.
13 EWU to Sweet 16.
11 UCLA to Sweet 16.

Arizona over Kentucky in the semifinal, and Duke over the Wildcats for all the marbles.

UCLA? Based on?

They shouldn't even be in the NIT.

I agree that UCLA has a history of horrible NCAA performances. But the bracket doesn't really have much of worth around them until they get blown out by the Zags....

This year has nothing to do with past NCAA performances.

THIS YEAR they don't deserve to be in.

They scored 7 points....SEVEN....in on half against Kentucky. I know UK is good, but jesus fuck..Pikeville and Georgetown (KY) put up more of a fight

So I'm getting in a 6-pack league. Pick any six teams you'd like and points equal to their seed for each win. EG: EWU (13) beats Georgetown, you get 13 points. Pick Kentucky, they win it all and you only get 6.

I'm thinking motley pick the right 5-10's with maybe a 3 or 12.

Suggestions?

And a catcher who "didn't belong" in the All-Star Game ended up MVP.

Yada, yada, yada....

UCLA is 2-8 on the road and 2-4 neutral court.
Terrible record vs. Top 100 is terrible.
