Re: Women's College Basketball
In a blowout of Stanislaus State, UOP's Kendall Kenyon tied a WCC record with 24 rebounds (which were paired with her 20 points for a rare 20+ double-double). UOP is one game into their new conference relationship and already impacting the record books. How cool is THAT?!?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Re: Women's College Basketball
Harvard is now two games into the season. We lost our opener to DePaul and won against Cal Poly. We return to Cambridge to open the home slate against Boston U on Wednesday.
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

Re: Women's College Basketball
Gosh, haven't updated in a while...
The bracketologies have Princeton listed as the Ivy representative to the Dance. No surprise still - Princeton played stronger OOC opponents than Harvard. However, they're still neck and neck in the overall standings (Harvard having a slight advantage, 11-4 over 12-5).
But still, it's the performance in the 14-Game Tournament that matters.

Oh yes! Jadwin jinx for the Harvard women is no more for the first time since 2009! Harvard took Princeton down at Jadwin 78-68, on the fifth anniversary of the last time the Crimson beat the Lady Tigers.
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

Not that anyone cares...the Lady Griz beat up Washington State tonight. Friday is against the winner of the CP/SD game.
EDIT: whoops. NIT. NIT is where this is happening.
