It's mind numbing how Weber's women's team can always be so bad. They may not have the history the men have but with the facilities that Weber has you'd think that would help in some way, form or fashion.....but it doesnt.

They were pretty good for a little while under Ord, but it's also pretty evident Weber doesn't care one bit about their WBB program. I mean, Ord left to take the job at Binghamton. Re: 2/4 Scores
I turned the game off with the Griz down by 3, having just missed a layup with 6 seconds to go and PSU recovering the rebound. Figured there was no WAY Griz were going to win (nor did they deserve to given the way they played). A missed free throw and 30+ foot 3-pointer buzzer beater later and they were going to OT!Mvemjsunpx wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 12:35 am

About time some Karma went the Griz way....we’ve lost half a dozen games this year the exact same way.

Re: Big Sky Basketball, 2020-21
Portland State's men's basketball series with NAU this weekend in Flagstaff has been cancelled due to COVID in the Lumberjacks' team.
https://goviks.com/news/2021/2/8/viking ... elled.aspx
This is the fourth series cancelled in Big Sky play for the Viks and not one was our fault.
Looking back, we should have told the conference that, if you can't guarantee that we will play a full conference slate, let us set our own schedule as an independent this year. It is a throwaway year anyway.

I’m betting Idaho wishes they’d have been able to cancel the WHOLE year.

After this weekend, we will have played the least amount of conference games, yet none of those cancelled games was because of us. It's difficult to get any consistency when you're not playing.AZGrizFan wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 6:42 pmAnd yet they’ve played 8 conference games, the 5th most in an 11 team league.JALMOND wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 2:53 pm Portland State's men's basketball series with NAU this weekend in Flagstaff has been cancelled due to COVID in the Lumberjacks' team.

At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if Idaho up and cancels their games with us next week as well (maybe pull a Howard and cancel the rest of the season). Seems to be the norm around here.

Four Griz mainstays go 1-9, 1-6, 2-7 and 1-3 and somehow we win that game going away.
