Weber Recycles Eric Duft

Post by Mvemjsunpx »

Duft is out as MBB head coach and will now be President of Basketball Operations and Development, whatever that is. He went 66-64 in 4 seasons as the head coach after 16 years under Randy Rahe as an assistant.

MSU Women make the WNIT and get a first round bye. They face the winner of San Francisco/Utah Valley. Thought MSU would make the WBIT. O well hope they can make a run in the WNIT.

Weber State hiring former NBA assistant and Troy associate head coach Kaleb Canales as men's head basketball coach. Canales was an assistant coach of the Portland Trail Blazers during Damian Lillard's rookie season. Lillard is now the general manager of Weber's basketball program.

This is the only coaching change I'm aware of at the moment, men's or women's. Well, incoming Utah Tech just fired their women's coach after 10 seasons, but nothing else from anyone currently in the Big Sky.
