What's the tie breaker for Griz/Bears?

Just googled it:
The next tiebreaker would be how each team did against conference opponents in descending order of the standings. For example, if two teams tied, it would come down to how each team did against the third-place team in the standings and if that didn’t break the tie, then onto the fourth place team and so on.

The final tiebreaker would be how each team was ranked in the RPI rankings at tournament time

Unfortunately, it's not. On the plus side, though, they will be showing some nice comedy as Sac State heads to Bozeman. ;)

If the Griz win out, they will host no matter what. If UNC also wins out, it would come down to RPI and there's no way UNC can catch Montana there. If the Griz lose a conference game, though, I'd say the chances of Missoula hosting are a coin flip at best.

I guess Mick Durham wasn't to blame for MSU's annual swoons. Maybe it's the depressing arctic blue look of Worthington Arena?

I saw about 3/4 of the game and I noticed the sparse crowd as well. Maybe the Sunday scheduling played a large part.

I wasn't really talking about the crowd size. It's just that being inside that place (or seeing it on TV) is depressing. Worthington's interior makes everything seem sad, blue, & lonely.

No. Just like Montana, UNC's other losses are to NAU and Weber. Common opponents wouldn't resolve anything so it would then go to RPI.

That's what I'm asking....just making sure it doesn't go to some useless statistic like "point spread" against the next best team or some other crazy shit like that. So, good. Montana just has to win out to host. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Or we can hope that both Montana and UNC lose one more, Weber wins out and NAU finishes 4th, that way Weber would host. :thumb:

Perhaps you're right that we can all hope for that, since Weber has choked at home the last two years. ;)

It is not the gym we play in. It is who is playing in it. We HAVE to be one of the worst teams in the country this year. No inside movement with the ball, and a huge lack of actual D1 talent. Most of the players on the team don't seem to gave a sh** about playing D. Any time you shoot 33 three pointers and make 5, there is no flow to your offense.

Hopefully Weber can get a victory down in San Jose on Friday, but first things first Weber needs to beat Portland State

Weber still showing no mercy at home, Clubbed Portland State by 22 80-58.

OK Weber time to take this 6 game winning streak momentum and KICK SAN JOSE STATE's ARSE  :notworthy:

And congrats to NAU for coming back and beating EWU :notworthy:

Montana could have lost but oh well :coffee:

That must be a "you were hoping for them to lose" deal. Because they crushed ISU.
