StonyBrook keeps rolling defeating UMBC tonight 80-68. The Seawolves are now 17-7 and 12-1 in America East play. Huge game Sunday at Vermont. If StonyBrook wins they just about locked up the regular season title with only two games remaining in conference play against Univ. of Hartford and Maine.

Murray State's streak has ended at 23. They lost to Tennessee Tech 72-68.
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

UNI started the season 10-1 then feel apart to start MVC play...However, looked very good the last three games including a win over 12th ranked Creighton, and a 15 point win over the team that currently sits in third place in the conference....It's a shame how conference play started, this UNI team could have easily been sitting at 2 or 3 losses right now

StonyBrook loses at Vermont today 68-49. The Seawolves never really showed up - poor shooting, turnovers and no defense killed them. SBU is now 17-8 and 12-2 in America East play. Next game is Saturday at Northeastern in Bracket Buster weekend.

DSU is traveling to Gardner-Webb tonight for the Bracketbusters game. Was an also-ran game but now as the Hornets have reeled off EIGHT straight victories, this game just increased a notch in importance for us.
MEAC, last one out turn off the lights.

StonyBrook defeated Northeastern Univ. today in a Brackbuster Game 76-69. Stonybrook is 18-8 on the season and
12-2 in America East play. Next game is Tuesday at the Univ. of Hartford. A 20 win season is very possible.

As SDSU has the #2 seed locked up in the Summit, obviously we have dreams of winning the conference tourney and going to the Dance, but barring that and they make the championship game against ORU, this website has them as a #2 seed in the NIT hosting Pitt. Brandyn Curry, though Oliver McNally also plays at that position.

By the way, the home win streak is still alive!!! Harvard nips Princeton 67-64 despite a buzzer-beater by Princeton's Douglas Davis.

If Harvard beats Penn at home tomorrow, it will clinch a tie for the Ivy title and will need only one win in its NY road trip next weekend to go to the Big Dance!

What the @#$%^&* :ohno:

Zack Rosen and Tyler Bernardini took charge in the second half (scoring Penn's last nine points) and Penn held on to beat the Crimson 55-54 and:

1. End Harvard's home winning streak at 28
2. Extend Harvard's magic number to 2 (we can still claim the assumed seat to the Big Dance by sweeping Columbia and Cornell on the road, which is doable) and either force a one-game playoff (if Penn sweeps Brown, Yale and Princeton - not really likely) or if Penn loses one or two of the three games, win the outright Ivy title.

Why do I have to wait?!?

StonyBrook won its second AE Regular Season Title in 3 years defeating Maine today 55-48. With the win SBU is 20-8, 14-2 AE play and will get the top seed in the AE Tourney plus an auto bid to the NIT regardless if the lose in the Tourney. Stonybrook now has a 13 game home winning streak to defend also .
