They have to get past Texas/Arizona/Oakland in the Sweet 16
and then either UConn or SDSU in the elite 8...

the UConn matchup would give them fits.

Still, I can see Mizzou giving UConn fits, particularly if the Huskies have to play a full 40 minute game against Bucknell in round 1. We have no idea how fatigued UConn is from that Big East Tourney run, and having to play Thursday/Saturday instead of Friday/Sunday took away an extra day of rest for them. Mike Anderson's "40 Minutes of Hell" could cause problems for a tired UConn team.

Ha...a full 40 against Bucknell. There have only been two or three games the last 3 years UCONN has had to play a full 40 minutes. I highly doubt Bucknell will be the team to do it.

The only team that has a shot with UCONN is Stanford and maybe Baylor.

Mizzou is exactly the type of team that could give UConn fits IF, IF, IF they figure out how to play away from home...I doubt they will with just a couple of practices and a game against Cincy.

UConn has a 4 day rest. These are 18-22 year old kids. Not 40 year olds...

I agree, and that's why I have UConn beating Mizzou in that game. Mizzou just doesn't look good away from Columbia. That should be enough rest, but the Gerry McNamara Syracuse team that won 4 games in 4 days in the Big East Tournament a few years back looked dead in their first round game, so who knows.

my first draft (and as a believer in "bracket integrity there is only one bracket - so i go in drafts) had UW going to the regional final...

after a second look - I've got Belmont pulling the upset...

Kansas over UConn

Pitt has a pretty easy road. BYU and St Johns are gimped, Kansas and Wiscy are overseeded and very probably could lose in the first round, so the only big threat I see is Florida.

My absolute hate for Duke does not allow me to ever pick them to get to the final four, SDSU got blown the f out the 2 times they played an elite team (3rd game versus swooning BYU does not count). Texas is the primary competition there imo.

Kansas vs Notre Dame was a tough one. Either one could easily reach the finals imo

And of course the East is a complete shit-show.
