Finally a complete performance tonight against Hawai'i. Had a run before halftime to go up 4, then absolutely destroyed the Rainbows in the second half. Final 89-72.

How fun was it calling them the Rainbows?Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:Finally a complete performance tonight against Hawai'i. Had a run before halftime to go up 4, then absolutely destroyed the Rainbows in the second half. Final 89-72.
Looks like UH will fit right in with the Big West.
After giving Washington State hell in the last game (and having the refs take that game over for them), The Hornets rallied from being down 17 in the first half to win by 8 over the farm extension. The win moves the Hornets to 3-1 with a game against McNeese State at home on Saturday. It was a gutsy win and the Hornets are shaping up to have a decent backcourt.

Davis doesn't look good at all. I have a feeling were going to curbstomp them in Cheney on Sunday.

What's with the refs this season? Most every game the Griz have played so far has been a whistle fest for both sides. This one had 57 combined fouls and 87 combined free throw attempts.

Re: 2011-12 Big Sky Basketball
UND should have blown out Montana. They were up by 11 at the half, and what happened in the second half was inexcusable. You don't let a team like Montana (picked 2nd in the Big Sky) come back on you at home. UND was lucky on a few miss shots by Montana that allowed the game to go OT. Plus FT is still a problem for the Sioux. They were horrible last season, and this season doesn't look too much better. At least in OT UND came out and proved they should be a competitior in the Big Sky. UND is now 2-0 vs the BSC, with 2 more games against the conference to come. They play at Idaho State on Dec 3rd, and at Sac St Dec 18th. A nice preview of the traveling UND will do next season. Last game against Montana was 11/13/09 at Montana...the Griz blew out UND 61-37. I think we have come a long way.Wildcat Ryan wrote:Darell1976 wrote:UND beat Montana 88-81 in OT!!! UND's first win over the Griz since 1964. That's kind of a dumb statement. Because we shot well from behind the arc we didn't get blown out? Think about what you're typing there frat boy.clenz wrote:What the **** is UNC doing shooting 68% from the 3 point line against UNI today? Damn...without doing that UNI wins by 20+
