Is there a such thing as negative shooting percentage?

38-15 at the half, and now 17-2 this half. :ohno:

If they'd played like this against Weber, they would've lost by 30.

Why couldn't the Griz get New Mexico again? They always suck come tournament time.

Finally! Harvard records first ever postseason win and the Ivy's first NCAA tournament win in 3 years.

We beat the Lobos 68-62.
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

I don't even think the Lady Griz shot this bad in their very worst NCAA performances.

Thank you! That game made me 15-0 in non-PIG games.

Unfortunately, barring a major Syracuse choke job, the later rounds are going to be hosed despite a great first-night final score of 15-1....

Not in hoops. But you can get a negative hitting percentage in volleyball. It actually happens all the time there....

Anyone think I should have asked for 50 points instead of the 20 I got?

Boeheim is considered in many circles to be a master at teaching the 2-3 zone, so much that Colangelo has him on the coaching staff of the Olympics, teaching the NBA stars how to play it. Montana just is not moving the ball fast enough and end up shooting from way outside at the end of the shot clock. Take heart, many teams have never figured out the "Syracuse zone".

So who had Montana's best moment of the game being a banked-in trey by Morgan Young? :?

Losing to a NAIA school would be less embarrassing than this loss.

I think the Bobcat women would be happy to trade (they lost to MSU-Billings).

Sheesh, the Griz lost worst than Akron did. And Akron was literally half dead. :ohno:

So, you think Syracuse would beat Montana by 50 every single time?

Syracuse wouldn't even beat Idaho State that bad every time. The gap from near-top to near-bottom in men's college basketball just isn't that large.
Everytime? No

I'd bet in a 10 game series the average margin of victory for Cuse would be 25ish though.

Big Sky BB is really bad.

The Big Sky was bad this year, but Harvard won a game even though the Ivy is almost that bad. And Davidson (should have) won their game even though the SoCon is just as bad as the Big Sky.

Congrats to Harvard! :thumb:

Congrats to Harvard for the upset!

Other than Harvards upset, my bracket is still good. I was talking with some guys around the coffee pot and our VP has two brakcets going: Michigan St. in one and JMU to win the other.

ok so i knew syracuse won, but didn't check until going through the posts here. And . Seriously WTF happened? Most teams get 34 by halftime. :wtf:

Didn't see the game obviously, but did Montana ever put someone in the middle at the free throw line? If you can get it to that point, and have one guy underneath the basket with 2 wings then the guy should have the option to pass it to either wing and someone should be open then. That's how you break it. Or you can do what nova does and drive right through it.

And a great effort by Southern! :thumb: Good road map for a way to beat the Zags later in the bracket.
