No it wouldn’t, teams that lose the tie breaker had numerous chances to not be in that situation in the first place. There are 20 BSC games for fuck sakes, 20!!!
There's a difference between deserving to go home and whether or not it sucks to go home, SD....

Whoa. I almost had a heart attack at the thought of the Griz men losing to SUU by 20.

Some early scores for the men

UND up 79-70 over PSU with 19 seconds left
WSU over Sac State 39-34 with 12 seconds left in the first half
ISU and NAU tied up at 31 at the half
EWU up 40-28 over UNC with a minute to go in the first half
MSU up 30-23 over SUU at halftime....what sucks is SUU was up halfway through the first and fell apart toward the end of the half. Hope they can come back and get a win.

41-34 WSU leads at the half. Hornets are hanging tough but I don't think they have the legs to make a comeback here. WSU is near flawless from 3 and their turnovers have kept this closer than it should be.

C'mon UNC get your shit together. We need as many 8 win teams to lose as possible. :x

Calm down (coach of Syracuse). It probably wasn't the worst call ever.

FYI SUU is tied up with MSU with 4 minutes to play.

SUU is beating MSU in most categories...but FT's are keeping MSU in it while they are hurting SUU.

61-59 SUU up with 2 minutes to go.

NAU - ISU tied. SUU-MSU tied SUU with the ball and a few seconds left. :o

3 no good. SUU-MSU head to OT.

ISU losses by one. Good no call on the last heave by ISU.

The SUU/MSU game should be over..but oh no...SUU cannot make a FT to save their life. 62-62 going to OT.

FT's

SUU 8-17
MSU 20-27

What does that say? OH...SUU cannot shoot a freebie to win a fucking game.

Hornets fall 79-67. We hung tough but just went cold down the final stretch. The game at ISU is now a must win IMO.

SUU is trying to help you out...but have already missed 2 FT's in OT and don't deserve to win this game...even though they have played well.

62-66 MSU with 2 minutes left.

It's over. SUU had their shot.

BTW this MSU streamcast is utter garbage. Good to know ours is way better than this.

Why did I stay up to watch 2 dumpster fires? I should have my head examined  What a terrible way to end it. Guess there is a couple more games for SUU to try and make a FT.

Should be another entertaining day of hoops this Saturday. Still a complete log jam for the final BSCT spots.

Monday should be a good game in Missoula. Both teams are playing for seeding.

Mid-Week 9 Standings

Post by Mvemjsunpx »

After tonight's results: Weber's men clinched at least a share of the title, while Portland State's women were officially eliminated from tournament contention (sorry SH). The EWU women clinched a tournament berth with tonight's win over NoCo, and Montana also clinched their 32nd. consecutive MWAC/Big Sky Tournament appearance due to that result as well.

Weber Clinches Regular-Season Title

Post by Mvemjsunpx »

Despite their surprising loss to NAU tonight, today's other results still clinched them home court advantage. North Dakota & Montana are the only two left that can still tie the Wildcats. NoDak can't win the tiebreaker, however, because Weber swept them. Montana is also out because they would need Sac to finish ahead of NoDak & NoCo to win the common games tiebreaker. That means UM would need Sac to win out, but Sac plays Montana so…
