Has that been confirmed? Last I read he was just considering it and hadn't hired an agent yet.kalm wrote:Harvey is leaving early.

Surprised we haven't heard any butthurt whining from the Griz crowd....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Aww, shucks. Back to mediocrity and irrelevancy for the Eags.kalm wrote:Confirmed.SDHornet wrote: Has that been confirmed? Last I read he was just considering it and hadn't hired an agent yet.

Need to find a guard or three and we'll be fine. Bigs are as good as anyone in the conference.Grizalltheway wrote:Aww, shucks. Back to mediocrity and irrelevancy for the Eags.kalm wrote:

It's more amusing that all the Sac fans are like "no-one is more deservingSuperHornet wrote:Surprised we haven't heard any butthurt whining from the Griz crowd....

"All" the Sac fans? You're sorely mistaken on THAT count, Venus....

It was two years ago, and it is well deserved. It took Katz longer than Hornet fans would have liked, but he got things turned around. I’m glad he proved the detractors (including me) wrong.Mvemjsunpx wrote:It's more amusing that all the Sac fans are like "no-one is more deservingSuperHornet wrote:

" when they hated Katz & wanted him gone as recently as a year ago.

Should have been Murphy.
Game, set, match NAU and Murphy over Katz.

PSU Hires Lynn Kennedy
The only presently open BB coaching job in the Big Sky has now been filled as Portland State hired Southern Oregon head coach Lynn Kennedy (who's a guy, incidentally) today. Kennedy went 208-105 in 10 years with the Raiders (DII of NAIA).
An interesting side note: Kennedy was the interim coach of Idaho State over the last month of the 2001-02 season following the player revolt that led to first-year HC Shirley Huyett's firing. He also was an assistant at EWU under Wendy Schuller's predecessor for a couple years before that.
