Basketball can be a wild sport. Montana beats Idaho, Oregon State waxes Montana, but Idaho goes into Corvallis & beats the Beavers by double digits. :?

    UNC 72-93 MARQ; Tate Unruh scores 25 points, but that couldn't overcome outmatched defense & rebounding



    Women

    BSU 72-63 EWU; Brianne Ryan gets a game-high 23 points, but also gets little help
    SAC 71-86 SFRAN; Hornets outshot 54%-31% by a 1-10 team
    WEB 59-77 CU; Weber has typically been a top-flight free-throw shooting team, but is now at 54% this season
    NAU 56-73 UVU; The 'Jacks are 5-6 overall, but now 0-5 on the road with an average margin of minus-18.4

    PSU 68-57 UCD*; Viks beat a 7-3 team one night after losing to a 2-7 team
    MSU 56-68 ILL**; The Illinois don't dominate any particular area, but they do win every stat by a slight amount

The Wahines may have been 2-7 to start their show in Manoa, but they're cleaning up at this point, beating PSU and Denver to go 4-7 now. And they'll probably take Davis tonight. Nothing like a home court and jet lag, not to mention 78 degree weather and the pull of the beach.
