If you're not doing anything at 7:00pm tonight, tune in to ESPNU to catch the Chanticleers take on the Duke Blue Devils up in Durham. Right now we're 28 point underdogs...I'm hoping we keep it a tad bit closer than that, though.

I, for one, think you'll score more than 28 points....I think you'll end up in the 35-40 point range!

CCU wound up losing to Duke 74-49. We played Elon in the consolation game tonight and beat them 69-46. All-in-all: our men's basketball team was picked to finish 8th in the Big South and we look nowhere near that bad. Cliff Ellis is turning things around.
Also: 2-0 against the SoCon so far this season

It will be interesting if your team comes to Diddle Arena, since WKU lost to LSU 71 - 60 last night. LSU went on an 12 - 0 run at the end of the game to get the victory.

Apparently we're not even going to play you guys. It's the consolation round of the NIT, and we're only going to be facing Indiana State and Cal State Northridge.
Our team is playing really well - far better than most expected. If we keep up this level of competition for the entire season, we have a real chance of finishing in the top 3 of the Big South, if not at the top.

I am cautiously optimistic about our team. Let's see how they are after 10 games or so.

Oh well, WKU will play Cal State Northridge on 11/23 and then Indiana State on 11/24. According to my source
www.wkusports.com, it was already predetermined. So CCU and WKU would have never met in the first place. This is great for everyone's SOS. E.A. Diddle is a great venue for basketball and the teams will enjoy the arena.

Hopefully WKU will be dishing out L's to these teams.

Coastal's playing pretty well against the Sycamores right now...first half was fairly tight but we've picked up the tempo for the second half. How's WKU faring in this consolation bracket, hillhound?
