WBB: Towson stuns No. 25 Maryland

The celebrating began long before the final buzzer, when it became apparent that Towson was going to pull off the biggest upset in the history of its women's basketball program.
The cheers got louder as the clock wound down, and with a minute left, many in the record crowd of 2,243 proclaimed No. 25 Maryland to be "Overrated!"
Then, at the end of Towson's 67-55 victory Thursday night, dozens stormed the court with frenzied delight.
"Obviously, it's a monumental moment in Towson basketball history," coach Joe Mathews said. "We just happened to catch them on a night that was kind of magical."
Shanae Baker-Brice scored 25 points for the Tigers, who entered with a 4-4 record that included losses to UMBC and Eastern Kentucky.

We beat Maryland if a few sport every so often. Soccer, lacrosse, WLAX, gymnastics, but for it to happen in basketball is unbelieveable.
