winless teams?

Just noticed in my "research" of the SWAC standings that Alcorn is winless at 0-21. Does anyone know if anybody else is that bad? I may have found the worse team in the country.

Bryant is 0-21, plus 0-9 in the NEC - which is one of the worst conferences in America.

While Alcorn was getting beaten in guarantee games, Bryant was getting it handed to them against Ivy League schools and some other patsies.

not all of Bryant's games have been patsies.

They have lose to some quality major conference teams and one of those Ivies was 2 bad calls away from beating at the time unbeaten and #1 Kansas a few days later.

Bryant is having a bad team because 4 seniors graduated (which was the reason they even had 8 wins last year, 4 years together and 4 consecutive tournament bids gave them confidence), and their best player Gresham has been out since about the 3rd game of the season with an injury. They are playing 3-4 freshman for a majority of each game and none of those freshman are DI caliber players.

I think Bryant can steal a game from Wagner and maybe another one before the end of the year. But that is all.

Not being able to win ooc games is one thing but not winning a swac game (where the refs do all they can to help you) is another. of course they'll probably get their first win against Southern.

I would love to be down at the Big Bang on Thursday night...had a blast last year. However, I have class from 3-6 on Thursdays, so TBH and I will be heading down to St. Louis after that. We should be in about 12:30 or 1 on Thursday night/Friday morning. It is 348 mi or 6 hours 15 mins according to Google Maps from our house to the Hilton at the Ballpark downtown. I'm trying to convince Sara that missing that class isn't going to hurt anything so we can leave at like noon.

Yeah two years ago. That was a good team. 6 seniors. Haven't recovered.

Towson beat Delaware too. It's a shame for UMBC that the Hens were not on the scedule this year, as I think they might have been able to pull out a "W" in that one. Delaware men's basketball has really gone in the shitter the last ten years. :ohno:

Bryant is now the last winless team. They were winning with under 5 minutes left against 18-9 and first place NEC Robert Morris before blowing it.
