Sounds like Dominic Waters probably won't play for PSU in Bozeman Saturday. If that's true, the Viks don't have much of a chance.
He hurt his heel in the Seattle game Tuesday.

If thats the case, then goodbye and good riddance to Dominic Waters

Stumbled on this website. Looks like the Big Sky could have one of the more competitive conference championships in the country.
http://www.teamrankings.com/ncb/confere ... s/big-sky/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Weber given a 34.47% chance of winning it and N Colorado given a 34.49% chance. Pretty close I'd say. Maybe not for a high seed, but should be entertaining nonetheless.

Sounds like he was kept out as a precaution. Geving also kept out Jones and Thomas in the second half of the Seattle game. From what I gather, Vikings are expecting all three to play as of today.

Both home teams should definitely win, but you never know.

Waters played the whole game in Bozeman. Vikings get the win and move on to Ogden. Will play home team Weber next. PSU beat the Wildcats the last game of the year in Portland.

Both semi final games are going to be ultra sweet next tuesday.
Montana vs Northern Colorado in the first game, and Portland State vs Weber State in the second game. 2 really good games there.

Did he look hurt? I saw he only went 3/10 from the field and scored less than half his average.

Waters was seen limping during time outs and at slow points during the game. He played the whole game but yet Geving said he was only about 50% out there. Bobcats may have been keying on him the whole game. Vikings did use him as a decoy on the last play, the Bobcats bit on it, and Jones made the last shot. The 3/10 performance may have been a combination of good Bobcat play on him and the "mind game" an injury like that can do as well.

Would like to see the PSU/WSU game broadcast in Portland but don't think it will happen. Comcast-Portland has the Blazers/Kings at that time and don't know who else would be interested in it. Doubt Fox Northwest would pick up the Altitude feed.

psu is lookin like a team that could keep winning
montana and unc also could easily be winning the tourney. the big sky seams much better this year.
as for a wsu fan wanting to get to the big dance im hoping history keeps true to at least get my team to the title game on wednesday on espn2. i am excited though to play psu, waters is my fav big sky player since alvin snow and the ewu teams of early this past decade. im glad to see him at the dee once more. you can tell he loves to hate weber and the wsu students love to hate waters. we will miss him next yr.
PSU 1-16 at the dee vs wsu and 10-25 vs wsu overall
PSU 8-6 in big sky tourney
PSU 0-3 vs WSU in big sky tourney
WSU 34-24 in big sky tourney
2002: (quarter) Weber State 84, Portland State 62
2005: (semi) Weber State 71, Portland State 61 (psu hosted and was conf champ)
2007: (semi) Weber State 77, Portland State 74 (wsu hosted and was conf champ and tourney champ)

Maybe we can keep winning, but as you pointed out, the game with Weber at Weber will be extremely tough, especially with Waters at less than 100%. This season has been really disappointing on many counts. Even with the coaching change, we still had enough talent to stay near the top. If we were to win out, I'd say we are looking at playing in the play-in game. We'd be a really shaky 16 seed otherwise. We first have to win out however, and the next game will be really tough.

And just like that it's 59-58. What a HORRIBLE 3 minutes of basketball by the Griz.
