Two stories:
1. Earlier this season in a game vs. Presbyterian, Il Duce Roy Williams had a PC fan ejected for...GASP...heckling during a free-throw. The offender, a [sober] Presbyterian alumnus and a deacon in his church, had the nerve to shout, "Miss it!" The free throw was made, but apparently this kind of heckling crosses some kind of appropriateness line, and Brian was unceremoniously ejected from the Dean Dome.

2. On Saturday, Duke took UNC behind the woodshed and doled out a southern-style switchin'. The final score was 82-50.

Where do these stories meet? In the Duke student section during UNC's demolition in Durham.


That's our boy, whom the Duke athletics department blessed with Blue Devils b-ball tickets after hearing about the ejection heard 'round the world.

That is cool.

Of course, the perfect outcome for the game would have been for both teams to disapear into a black hole for say, two months...

Williams is a tool. Always pulled for UNC as kid and older. No longer. Williams sucks.

As much as I hate dook, that is awesome! I applaud the dookies in siezing an opportunity to stick it to Ol Roy for a very petty and unclassy move on his part...

I am surprised UNC even lets in visiting team's fans in for any sport. I guess they do let in a few dozen for protocol.

In 1996, Dean brought his team to VMI for a game. Outside Cameron Hall before the game, a couple hundred UNC fans (who didn't already have tickets) pestered VMI folk for theirs.

"do you have any extra tickets?"

"no"

"then, I'll give you $80 a piece for yours"

"no thanks"

"what is wrong with you?! I wanna see UNC play!!"
