MEN’S MATCHUPS

Wednesday
#1 Jackson State - 57
#8 Grambling State - 65


#2 University Arkansas-Pine Bluff - 69
#7 Mississippi Valley State. - 66

Thursday
Alabama State and Alabama A&M play in the opening round of the tournament for the second consecutive year, this time as the 3-6 matchup. The Hornets again swept the season series (83-69 at home Jan. 16, 80-76 on the road Feb. 13.)

Texas rivals Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern will also meet for the third time this season. The Panthers swept the season series, winning both games by five points (65-60 Jan. 16 at TSU, 63-58 at home Feb. 6.)

UA-Pine Bluff or Grambling to the NCAA would be great, both are NCAA virgins. 1 seeds Lipscomb, Quinnipiac, Stony Brook, along with William & Mary (CAA finalist) all fucked up.

That's the SWAC tourney for you. Seedings can usually be thrown out the window, there's always at least a 7 or 8 seed getting a win.

Great motivation and prep work by the JSU coaching staff there :doh: ........13 games apart during the regular season.
