By far my favorite tourney. UConn crapped the bed yesterday, can't say I was upset about that one. That SH/Providence game was crazy, almost blowing a 29-point lead in the last 12 minutes of a game. The Hall needs to beat ND tonight if they have any shot at the field of 65.

Nothing comes close to the Big East Tournament combine the fac that it's in the greatest city on earth with the fact that it has been bar none the best conference and you get a recipe for awesomeness. The atmosphere at the tournament (especially on the first day) is electric, it's definitely one of those sports things people need to do before they die.

Great tournament to go to - I remember being up there for one of those 5 games in 1 day setups before they changed the format. That was back during the "God" days at Providence (God Shamgod - best name for a b-ball player ever). First time I ever got to see Providence fans - and people say Philly fans are tough.

aka Jesus FakeJesus himself :thumb: :thumb:

This really is a great tournament. I would argue that a team that plays in the BE Tourney and the NCAAs will face the toughest 9 to 11 game stretch in history.

(warning: looking ahead) I don't trust Pitt to beat Nova twice in one season, so hopefully Cuse can take care of them, and set them up with a 3-14 matchup with Montana :D

It's going to end up being a far cry from the 3 #1 seeds, #2 seed, and a #3 of last year. Too much parity this year

But still, it's hard not to see the Big East doing extremely well in the tournament once the games start. nova's a bit worrisome, what with now 5 losses in the last 7, and not being solid defensively, but almost everyone coming out of the Big East is going to be an extremely tough out. 'Cuse will be fine as long as Oneauku (sp?) isn't seriously hurt - 'Cuse has no depth so they can't afford to lose anyone, let alone him.
