This is a cool video of the construction and painting of the Final Four court in Indy.

I'm guessing that same company does all the regional and sub-regional floors now as well? I noticed last year all the floors looked the same. Kind of seems like an unnecessary expenditure to create all those new floors each year.

They often sell them to new arenas. IIRC, when UD's Bob Carpenter opened, it was sporting the floor from the previous spring's Final Four, repainted in blue and gold of course.

So now we're trash talking basketball on an FCS football site? For grins and giggles, here's the FCS football school championship tally in the NCAA basketball tourney:

Holy Cross - 1 (1947)
Georgetown - 1 (1984)
Villanova - 1 (1985)

The Patriot takes it. CAA in a close second. ECB is alive and well. :thumb:

UNI just purchased a new floor for next year, from the NCAA. In fact, the we got the one from St Louis that we played our Sweet 16 game on.

Well it is the college hoops forum. ;)

And it's funny, I didn't see Delaware anywhere on your list. :?

Yep, we'll just have to take pride in the occasional NCAA tourney appearance and otherwise being irrelevant in basketball, kind of like Montana. Hell, our women draw better than our men in Newark. I think I've been to maybe ten Delaware basketball games in my lifetime. We went to the NCAA tourney twice in my four years at UD and we still considered hoops a mere sideshow.

Yup, the court Michigan State plays on at the Breslin Center is the same court they played on when MSU won the 2000 National Championship.
