Coach Dean Smith is dealing with memory loss issues. While I have never been a fan of Carolina sports, there is no denying the legacy he created. He won consistently and ran a clean program. Best of luck Coach Smith.

That's too bad - my dad is a UNC grad and I grew up a Tarheel fan. In 6th grade a good friend and I went to Carolina Basketball camp, and our "graduation" at the end of the week was receiving our certificates from Coach Smith and shaking his hand. That was a pretty cool memory over the years.
