If ODU is 6th then I'd hate to think how bad those below us are because believe me, we are awful.

Seems like the Lady Monarchs are living a little on name and preseason rankings. They will probably drop further.

You don't pay much attention, do you, bandl?
The Goddess of Basketball is Sherri Murrell, the HC at Portland State.

Fuck no I don't pay attention to mundane shit like that. Never heard of her. Besides, after your 'Montana vs. Liberty in the FCS final' prediction, you obviously don't know what you're talking about in the grand scheme of things.

I couldn't resist googling this chick. Not at all surprised by what I found...

Sherri Murrell is the head coach of Portland State University Women's Basketball Team. She's an out lesbian. No big deal, right? Certainly there are plenty of lesbian coaches in women's basketball. Well, think again. Sherri Murrell is, as far as we know, the only out lesbian coach in NCAA Division One Women's Basketball. She herself laughs at the notion. After all, there are lesbians all over the sport of basketball. But something is keeping them silent.

You guys be nice. She's one of the most awesome people on the planet, and a great coach, too. She's resurrected two moribund programs in her time. Too bad the other one promptly went back into the torlet as soon as she left. The guy she lobbied the admin to replace her had a bad case of ungrateful-itis and ran the team into the ground. Took a D-II call-up from Chico State to even begin to get the program back to where Sherri had it.

Would you make out with her?

Apparently so. I've gotten similar warning for gambling, adult, games, and jokes off the top of my head. Thank God they haven't banned sports.
Also, 89, I'm not a contractor employee, but rather a DoD civilian. You know, the humble servants that aren't getting a raise for the next two years.

My favorite thing about SH is that he actually thinks that we would give a shit about anything like this and in fact should know what he is talking about.
After all this time I am still amazed that I can be surprised at what he posts and finds interesting. at least once each day I can be found needing a neck brace from shaking my head while muttering "what the fuck".
It's rare that you get to experience this much joy on a regular basis. I am truly blessed.
