Portland State is ineligible for Post-Season, including the Big Sky Tourney.

Only six teams make the Big Sky tourney. Sacramento State has already been eliminated from contention.

The SWAC only takes 8 teams. Southern and Alcorn close out with games at Texas Southern and Prairie View. Southern in pretty much out barring a miracle (winning in Texas which is something they rarely do). Alcorn has a slightly better shot (although they lost to both TSU and PVU at home already)

nobody mathematically out yet though, right tj?

(swac was one of the ones i wasn't sure about as far as formatting of the tourney - and how many were in)

IF Prairie View wins tonight against Alabama A&M, Southern is eliminated.

PV is playing at Alabama A&M tonight which is a tough place to win in SWAC play. I think the Panthers lose tonight and earn the last spot on Thursday against Alcorn.

Couple of big games in ACC land this week: Carolina at FSU and Duke at Carolina. Va Tech and Clemson are most likely fighting for the last bye.

nah dj - i agree...

Towson is a good team - and the kind of team that could very easily make a run in a conference tournament.

For the tournament games students have to pay $3 to get in. I guess momma and daddy didn't include $3 for a basketball game in their budget this semester :ohno:

THREE BARKING DOLLARS!?!?! Oy vey... that's even WORSE! that's less than a chalupa combo at the taco bell... that's less than most of them probably put in the collection plate on Sunday...

jcm... I'm appalled - given the ferocity and renown that LU football fans have... they can't muster up anything for a hoops team that had a pretty good year... :ohno:
