Dude is only the sixth player in Sky history to reach the 1K point mark.
And it seems like an inordinate amount of those points came against my Hornets....

That can't be right...Devon Beitzel is well over 1,000 career points, he has almost 600 this year alone.

Montana’s Brian Qvale became the sixth player in the league to score his 1,000th career point this season.
He's not the sixth ever, just the sixth to do it this year.
There have been
way more than 6 people scoring 1000 career points in Griz history, much less Big Sky history. If you play in every game of your career, you wouldn't even need 9 ppg to reach 1000 total.

Okay, that makes a lot more sense.

None the less, Congrats Brian Qvale! Still an impressive feat at the D1 level. It's always nice to see ND boys do well!

Unfortunately, that choke loss on Saturday may have cost him the chance to win or share the Big Sky MVP award.

The Big Sky MVP will (and should) be Devon Beitzel.

From SH's link...
JONES CRACKS TOP 20: Northern Arizona’s Cameron Jones became the school’s all-time scoring leader, and is on the verge of cracking the top 20 all-time in Big Sky history in career points. Jones scored 47 points in two games last week, giving him 1,563 for his career, tying him for 20th place in Big Sky history with Willie Sojourner of Weber State. Jones surpassed Kelly Golob as NAU’s all-time leading scorer. Golob netted 1,650 points from 2002-06.

edit - I looked it up… Golob actually has 1550, not 1650.

Yeah, that didn't make sense, but I figured it was a transposition.
