UD has what UConn needed
UConn lost to Notre Dame in the Ladies Final Four due in large part to not having a decent backup big girl when their starter got into foul trouble early in the game. Sitting the bench early, then fouling out later, was the reason why UConn fell to the Lady Irish in the final four. If Delladonne had stayed with UConn, she could have come in and the Lady Huskies would not have lost a beat on their way to another National Championship. UD has what UConn Needed: Elena Delledonne.
On December 12, 1775 the Continental Congress created a Battalion of minuteman from the three counties in Delaware. Kent county militia were fans and owners of Game Cocks; Fight'n Blue Hens as they were called. The Fight'n Blue Hens became known far and wide as the very best Fighting Game Cocks around. Thus, the Blue Hen was established.
