really? this deserved it's own thread?
We were most likely going to be pretty bad anyway so maybe this will turn around the program and have the team play above its expectations and just maybe we can win our 3rd straight CAA title.

There's nothing here to laugh about man. This is a sad day in the history of collegiate basketball.
RIP Blaine Taylor's mustache.

Hey man, I know Blaine's mustache wasn't a saint, but come on...at least have some respect for the dead.
*sigh* I knew this day would eventually come but honestly, as much as you go through the scenario in your head, there's just no way to adequately prepare for when the real thing happens.

Thanks for reminding me of some of the good times we had with THE 'stache. Always good to remember the better times.
There's a pic somewhere floating on the internetz floating of that poster. Maybe I'll dig it when I have some time.
If anyone else has a mustache related memory, please don't hesitate to share.

Maybe now he can unstrap the feedbag and lose about 80 lbs.
If not, there WILL be a sad loss fairly soon....

I'm not excited...the mustache was our source of power. Without it, all hope is lost. I'm not even sure if I'll be going to basketball games anymore. I mean what's the point? CAA mediocrity, here we come...
...I'll say hi to Andy for everyone.

Did his mustache know where Iowa was, or was it just as stupid as the rest of the ODU roster a year ago?

Someone post the suicide hotline...I might need the number to make it through the night. I mean life and death, what does it all matter in the end? Is there an afterlife, or do man and mustache slip into eternal nothingness when the inevitable occurs? What's the point of life if our body hair just exists to cease. So many thoughts, so little time...

I remember watching a Griz game on TV in a bar in Helena while Morrill was still the HC and Taylor was one of his assistants. Somebody from the other team stole the ball and went tearing down the sideline on a fast break. When he got even with the Griz coaches he suddenly tripped over his own feet, fell down, and lost the ball out of bounds.
At which point the guy next to me at the bar goes, "must've got a whiff of Blaine's breath."
