USU always fields a pretty decent team, should be a good matchup.

Chiverton is the real deal. He's only at 80-85% healthy by his own admission, coming off foot surgery. Before he fouled out tonight, he was average 25 pts a game, most of it coming from beyond the arc.

I saw last night that in the two games that EWU has played against Gonzaga and Oregon they had 9 players foul out. Pretty incredibly they have been able to hang around with both of those teams with that sort of foul trouble.

I wouldn't worry too much about EWU's foul trouble against Gonzaga. Playing at the Kennel is the pacific northwests version of Cameron Indoor at Duke......phantom fouls against the visiting team are a right of passage.

I also think it was a little bit by design to slow down their front court. Our bigs can shoot the three but they're undersized and no match against the likes of Sacre, Harris, and Dower. Might be the best front court we face all season.

I watched a good chunk of that game. EWU was not homered. The Eags were nailing threes left & right, but they looked really undisciplined on defense. They were just flailing around and grabbing whatever & whoever they could.

EWU has 10 foul-outs in 3 games. :o :?

It's also tough to draw fouls when half your shots are three-pointers.
