For all intents and purposes, The Citadel was eliminated at the start of the season. We suck so hard this year that the moon has actually moved 3245.6 miles closer to the earth.

Harvard beats Cornell - the Big Red are finished
317 to go.
Tomorrow will be big:
A10: Fordham and Rhode Island are on the brink of elimination a GW win combined with a loss for either team will result in their elimination.
ASun: Jacksonville loses tonight - if Stetson beats SC Upstate - the Dolphins are eliminated
Big Sky: If Montana State beats Montana tomorrow - Northern Colorado will be eliminated and the tournament field will be set
OVC: EIU has an outside chance to stay force EKU out of the tournament - they play head to head tomorrow - I don't know how the tie-breaker works.
Southland: Bit of a mess - but Nicholls plays McNeese - if Nicholls wins UCA is eliminated. SELA plays C. Arkansas - loser is eliminated. TAMU-CC plays SFA, if they lose they are eliminated.
Summit: IPFW and UMKC play in what amounts to a play-in game to the Summit tournament.
Ivy League: If Harvard beats Penn, they win the Ivy outright (I believe) Princeton plays Dartmouth - if they lose they are eliminated.

If Harvard beats Penn tomorrow, they just need to win one more Ivy game against either Cornell or Columbia (both have already been eliminated) to punch the first ticket to the Big Dance 2012.

Ah - I had thought that given their 2-0 record against Penn and Yale that even were they to lose, they'd win the tie-breaker. I would assume - based on this - that they don't have a tie-breaker, other than a one game tournament.

In the SWAC MVSU has locked up the #1 seed and Texas Southern has sealed the #2 seed. the other seeds should shake out after Thursday.
If PVU wins against Southern or UAPB loses to Valley, PVU will lock up #3.
the AAMU/JSU loser will get the #8 spot.

yes, southern and grambling. grambling would have missed the tourney anyway since they are last place.

Anything can do, but I hope that Harvard should lock up the Dance ticket.
