I want to wish the best of luck to all BSC teams in the tournament. I hope to see my team in it next year. Represent the Big Sky proud in the dance!!!! GO BSC!!!!
Glad UM won. I think we matchup better with them than Weber. Gotta take care of business against ISU first, though. Strange that this is the third game in a row that we play the Bengals.
On another note, how does the tournament change next year with UND and SU in the mix? Still going to be 6 seeds?

In the postseason tournament, the top seed will get a first-round bye in addition to hosting the tournament. The three first-round games will pit the No. 2 seed vs. No. 7, No. 3 vs. No. 6, and No. 4 vs. No. 5. The top seed will face the lowest remaining seed in the semifinals, with the remaining two teams squaring off.

Not quite in a row - we had PSU in between. Also, might match up better with UM, but they are the hotter team right now and have home court advantage... personally, I'll be rooting for MSU to beat PSU so we can play Weber (and away from their "purple palace" no less). Plus, I'm sure the Griz would love to beat MSU has a third time.
As for the new format...

How is it that the guys are done with the regular season, but we still have girls teams with games left? The #1 seed is all locked up (ISU), but all of the interior seeds are still up for grabs, and the #6 seed is still available. Unfortunately for me, it's either Sac or PSU. I can't get both. Sac is one game ahead, but is effectively THREE games ahead due to the regular season sweep. It's not official yet, but #6 looks like it belongs to a resurgent Hornets squad.

Because their tourney starts a couple weeks after the Mens does.

Yes, and always has. Always.

I'd rather Portland State beat MSU, because I think PSU is the only quarterfinalist playing well enough right now to have any decent shot at an upset (& the Griz get to dodge them in the semis).

Well, so far, this tournament is going according to Hoyle....

If Montana makes the finals (and I don't see any reason why they wouldn't), is the final locked into Dahlberg? I mean, if it looks like the place would be not only SRO but people would be turned away, could the game be moved to WA/Griz? Would the weather cooperate for that?
Something interesting to think about....

How's that, grizza? The Globetrotters play outside all the time, and the NBA occasionally will play outside. Heck, we've had humongous threads about the NHL's outdoor games. The football stadium is bigger than the hoops arena, right? So it stands to reason that if an anticipated sell-out is moved to the football stadium, the fans that would have been disappointed now get in, so that even if THAT isn't a sell-out, you have more butts in the seats, which translates into more dollars in ticket sales, concessions, and overpriced parking to split between UM and the league.

So taking God's Name in vain in response to ME is more important than responding to the prodigal bandl, who has just trashed our entire conference?

bandl wins.
Bandl does, infact, win.
