I missed this or I would have thrown a terrible one together. It wouldn't be because I didn't try, I am just not a very good basketball fan.

One could probably say that mine is screwed as well, although my champ is still in it. (They're having problems with Lehigh right now, though.)
My big problem is that I had Cal and Montana in the Sweet Sixteen. Sure, I didn't factor in the Norfolk State upset, but I had Mizzou losing to Florida in the next round, anyway. I had Creighton over 'Bama and NC State over San Diego State.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Now that the shock has worn off I think NSU has a shot to make history vs Florida if the slows down the tempo and keep hitting those TIMELY THREES.Brandon Goode a 6-11 215 soph will have to get some playing time with O'Quinn tomorrow Florida has two players at 6-10 and two more at 6-9 so he must get some major playing time vs the Gators and NSU must use its size in the backcourt to its advantage and keep those small guards from Florida from turning the game into a track meet.SuperHornet wrote:One could probably say that mine is screwed as well, although my champ is still in it. The reason Mizzou lost is that they can't deal with bigger teams Kansas St beat them twice during the season using a big lineup against them.SuperHornet wrote:One could probably say that mine is screwed as well, although my champ is still in it. Every team Mizzou faced this year was bigger. Did you even watch the game? Norfolk beat Mizzou with three point shooting.dal4018 wrote:The reason Mizzou lost is that they can't deal with bigger teams Kansas St beat them twice during the season using a big lineup against them.SuperHornet wrote:One could probably say that mine is screwed as well, although my champ is still in it. Mizzou beat all teams with three point shooting this year. Their shots weren't dropping and Norfolk caught fire from beyond the arc...but those second and third opportunities are what decided the game.

Yes I watched the entire game and yes I knew Norfolk won with three point shooting but also their size was a detriment to the Tigers as well. Also the Tigers never used pressure defense at any time in the game.CitadelGrad wrote:Every team Mizzou faced this year was bigger. Yes second effort played a huge role in the Spartans victory as well. But when they faced the Gators they started out ice cold at the beginning.DSUrocks07 wrote:And rebounding...CitadelGrad wrote:

The state of Ohio has a right to be proud they have 4 teams from the state that made the Sweet 16 and one of them is Ohio and that team has a young man named Nick Kellogg son of College Basketball Analysts Clark Kellogg.
