Nicholls made the Mid-Major poll with 8 - 6. TxSt did not. Go figure.
Mid-Major poll includes # 16 SFA & Nicholls, UTSA, Lamar in others receiving votes.
Lamar? They're 10 - 4 and only get 64 poll points?
Gonzaga is # 3 at 10 - 4. Is it their rep or their SOS? And why is SFA in there but not Lamar? Same reasoning?

Thanks. I figured SOS. Not complaining mind you, I routinely root for Gonzaga (in the NCAA's) Giant killers. Wanted to see what their OOC schedule entailed this year.

The Southland teams aren't nearly as good as the overall records say because they play by far the most non-DIs of any conference (most of them play 3 or 4 drop down games).

SFA and UTA were the early favorites. TAMUCC was picked near the bottom so they are looking good in conference play so far. It kills me that they beat Texas St so bad.

Sam Houston didn't win this? I thought they rule the Southland in all sports?
