With a 77-69 win over the Eagles, The Weber State Wildcats got the road sweep of Portland State and Eastern Washington.
It was a great way to end arguably the Hardest road trip in the Big SKy this year. Then again the Montana's are a tough trip to.
Weber State now heads home to take on the Montana's, starting with Montana State on Thursday, and Montana on Saturday.

EWU did not look like an impressive team. They made some nice moves to the basket early, but once Weber switched to a zone, the Eagles were lost. Benny Valentine literally tried to win the game by himself late, but it wasn't nearly enough even with some stupid Weber turnovers. Eastern is in fourth now, but I doubt they'll stay that high.
Weber didn't impress me, but they didn't look bad either. They made enough plays to beat a weaker Eagle team today but I'm guessing the Wildcats played better against PSU Thursday (the Viks have run the entire good-to-bad spectrum this year, though, so who knows). Both teams took too many contested shots & long, ill-advised 3-pointers.

Weber State is a hot team right now, with the comeback/overtime win over UNC, and the road upset at PSU by 14 points, And the big win at EWU, where Weber led by as many as 17 points.
I think Weber can go and win anywhere in the Big Sky this year.
