Joe Lunardi's Early Bracket for 2013
CSU returns its entire roster from a 2011-2012 season which saw the Bucs secure the program’s first winning record since 1996-1997. The Bucs finished in a tie-for-third in the Big South regular season standings, and highlighted a 19-12 year with a conference tournament victory over Liberty and a berth in the BSC Tourney Semifinals.
Just last week, Martin was recognized as a Mid-Major Defensive All-American by CollegeInsider.com, marking the second consecutive year he was honored by the site. The Bucs also received another accolade from the site when guard Saah Nimley garnered a spot on the Mid-Major Freshman All-American team. Nimley teamed with Arlon Harper to form one of the top freshmen backcourts in the country, and both were named to the Big South All-Freshman Team following the year.
In addition, Head Coach Barclay Radebaugh announced last week the additions of junior college transfer Allie Fullah and high school senior Malcolm Bernard for 2012-2013. Fullah will add bulk to the Bucs front line, while Bernard will look to be a factor in CSU’s deep and talented backcourt mix.
